The next Dedham Vale Dark Skies event is taking place on Saturday 21st March at Thorington Studio from 7:30pm.

The weather for Saturday evening looks very promising. The plan is for a Night Sky Viewing event at the Dark Sky Discovery Centre: Thorington Studio.

Starting at 19:30 there will be a short talk about the constellation of Orion followed by a viewing session of Orion and Jupiter.

The event will take place at Thorington Studio which is opposite Thorington Hall in Thorington Street.

Thorington Studio is on the B1068 at Thorington Street if coming from Higham it is the barn on the left opposite Thorington Hall and Mill Lane. Coming from Stoke by Nayland it is the last building on the right as you exit the village.

No need to book, just turn up if the parking is full then there is a field opposite that can be used.  There should be someone there to direct you!
