The Stour Valley Education Network are encouraging families to ‘Go wild in the Stour Valley’ this half term..
The Stour Valley offers a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy from walking in the stunning landscape, exploring the River Stour by canoe or boat or by stepping back in time during a visit to one of the areas stately homes.
When visiting the Stour Valley, children and their families can :
- get close to nature with some wildlife spotting,
- hunt for evidence of legendary myths by catching a glimpse of the famous Bures Dragon,
- explore how people used to live in the past with interactive exhibitions at the local National Trust properties and heritage centres.
