We are delighted to be able to present the 2023 Dedham Vale & Stour Valley Forum and registrations are now open.
The Dedham Vale and Stour Valley Forum is an annual event where anyone with an interest and passion for conserving and enhancing the Dedham Vale National Landscape and Stour Valley can come together to discuss a range of issues affecting the area.
This year’s Forum will be an in-person event in the Flatford area. There is an opportunity to join part of the event online but consider the best experience is had by joining us in-person.
The event will take place on Thursday 14th September from 6:30pm (doors open at 6:00pm for light vegan refreshments) to 8:00pm with the option of a ‘dark skies walk’ afterwards. Our theme for this year is A National Landscape fit for the 21st century?
We are delighted to have an outstanding range of speakers from the Farming in Protected Landscapes team, the National Trust and the voluntary sector via the Practical Actions for Climate and the Environment, Manningtree Group.
Tickets are free, although a £5 donation is welcomed to cover costs from those attending. The programme includes plenty of breaks, opportunities to ask questions and engage in discussion. In person tickets are limited. You can book your tickets online now.
Booking is online only. You will be asked if you plan to attend in person and whether you would like to participate in the dark skies element immediately after the formal forum has finished.
