We are recruiting! We have an exciting opportunity working as part of a small team committed to conserving and enhancing the natural beauty of the Coast & Heaths and Dedham Vale Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. (AONBs)

The role of AONB Officer will manage part of a high performing team, develop externally funded opportunities and take charge of several projects delivering environmental outcomes either directly or in partnership with others.

You will work in partnership with a wide range of public, private and third sector organisations to deliver environmental enhancements across south and east Suffolk and north Essex, engaging with partners at a regional and national level on National Landscape topics.

This rewarding role will give you the opportunity to deliver environmental work in two nationally designated landscapes and develop your skill set across a wide portfolio of disciplines.

  • £36,298 per annum (pro rata if part time)
  • 37 hours per week (part time working considered)
  • Fixed term/ Secondment for 3 years (due to funding)
