It is almost time for the Sustainability in Education Conference taking place on 2nd April at St Joseph’s College, Ipswich!
All schools are expected to have a climate action plan in place by the end of July and this conference will give you all the knowledge and skills to develop and improve your work on sustainability. This event is designed for all school staff responsible for or interested in sustainability, including operational and curriculum leaders and governors.
The day will include updates from the Department of Education and workshops on:
- Climate action planning
- Carbon awareness training
- Student empowerment & engaging the local community
- Tools for behaviour change
- Sustainability in the curriculum
- Nature connection and outdoor learning
