Landscapes for All Fund

Thanks to support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, grants are available for visits and activities within the Dedham Vale National Landscape boundary.

We encourage applications from community groups, organisations (or individuals) to apply for grants from £500-£2,000 to promote practical support for people to go outdoors and enjoy nature.

We encourage applications from people, or, on behalf of groups who would not normally visit rural places and spend time in nature. Funding can be used for practical costs, such as travel, and to help people learn about and better appreciate the countryside.

The Dedham Vale National Landscape Team is allocating up to £10,000 of funding made available by The National Lottery Heritage Fund under the auspices of our Celebrating 50 Years project.

This is a ‘one-off’ opportunity to apply for funding for an activity from March to end of September 2024. We are offering up to 100% of funding to be paid in advance for activities which can be completed by the end of December 2024.

The Landscapes for All Fund wishes to attract applications from the widest range of society possible and supports equality of opportunities to access this fund.

If there is anything that the National Landscape Team can do to facilitate this process, please contact National Landscape Officer, Eloise Markwick, on 01394 445224, or email LandscapesForAllFund@suffolkandessex-NL.org.uk.

Funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund is made possible thanks to National Lottery players.

  4. Eligible applications will be approved in principle by the National Landscape Team.
  5. The funding requirements and conditions will be agreed between the National Landscape Team and the applicant.

  • You have provided us with details of a community group bank account or business bank account for us to pay the funding into. The National Landscape Team is unable to make a grant payment to a personal bank account.
  • Community groups will require two people to sign a Funding Agreement on behalf of your organisation promising to deliver the activity and to adhere to the conditions of the funding. The Funding Agreement may be signed by one person representing a business or professional organisation.

Please note that the Fund is currently not accepting any more applications at this time.
