Promoted Route Volunteer Surveyors

Group of people digging hole

Promoted Route Volunteers survey our walks twice a year, recording obstructions, vandalism, signage issues and other potential problems.

They also undertake simple maintenance tasks, such as cutting back overhanging vegetation and replacing missing waymark discs.

Our Promoted Routes are:

  1. The Stour Valley Path
  2. Walks off the Stour Valley Path

Surveying one of these routes is a great way to help look after the AONB and an opportunity to get out and about in the fresh air. Full guidance will be provided so no experience necessary.

To find out more see the role profile or contact AONB Countryside Projects Officer Emma Black.
