We are delighted to be able to present the 2022 Dedham Vale & Stour Valley Forum!

The Dedham Vale AONB and Stour Valley Forum is an annual event where anyone with an interest and passion for conserving and enhancing the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty & Stour Valley can come together to discuss a range of issues affecting the area.

This year’s Forum is once again virtual, taking place on Tuesday 14th June , starting at 7pm. Our theme for this year is Climate Change: What might it mean for the Dedham Vale and Stour Valley?

We may not find out all the answers but there will be presentations from a local agricultural interest, and Professor Jules Pretty (University of Essex) will show some insight into the current situation and potential solutions.

Three breakout sessions on Farming in Protected Landscapes, the links between the climate crisis and wildlife loss, and actions that can be taken and how the AONB might support such action will follow the main presentations.

Tickets are free. The programme includes plenty of breaks, opportunities to ask questions and engage in discussion. There will also be in-person site visits available to book separately to look at examples of some of the topics covered.

Booking is online only and you will need to express a preference to of the shorter topic based presentation you wish to attend in the the breakout session. Find out more and register online (free).
