Support Suffolk’s Greenest County Awards 2024

Cut and rake at Hornestreet Field, Langham (16)

The Creating the Greenest County Awards are back for another year! This is the thirteenth time the Awards have been held to celebrate environmental excellence in every aspect of life across the county.

The awards recognise achievements by businesses, individuals, communities, organisations and schools, in areas such as reducing carbon emissions, being more sustainable and enhancing biodiversity.

As well as shining a deserved spotlight on the incredibly valuable work that is being done throughout Suffolk, the Awards are about bringing people together, sharing ideas and inspiring others. If we’re to meet the challenge of climate change and protect our environment, we need to collaborate and address the urgent issues that face us all.

This year we especially want to recognise the good work that takes place in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors. We’re extremely proud of Suffolk’s rural nature, and we aim to celebrate the most sustainable practices among our county’s diverse farming community.

By raising awareness of the achievements of award winners, we aim to use the Creating the Greenest County Awards to inspire others in everything from energy efficiency and saving on bills through to carbon reduction measures, environmental enhancement and promoting biodiversity. In this way, our goal of creating the most sustainable county takes a step nearer to reality.

Entries close on 31st January 2024. To find out how you can enter, or to nominate a school, business, organisation or community group, visit www.greensuffolk.org/awards.
